Ready to Make Robots Commonplace?
Develop an autonomous driving platform using ROS Navigation stack
Create Software Architecture in a cross-platform environment while keeping the services modular and flexible
Lead a highly functioning team and work towards accomplishing goals and objectives
Perform system analysis to measure and verify safety, functionality, and improvement before deploying the robot in urban environments
Work with stereo camera feed to stitch panoramic images of Skippy’s surroundings while generating depth data for obstacle avoidance and mapping
Design and develop algorithms using ROS to solve autonomous driving challenges in an urban environment
Integrate VR system into our platform efficiently so Skipster’s can control the robot remotely with low latency
Develop code using CUDA and C++ to use parallelism for fast data processing
Make the product robust to various embedded systems such as SoC/FPGA/real-time environments.
Work with embedded platforms to acquire sensor data using communication protocols such as UART, SPI, I2C, etc. with low latency and high reliability
Deployed software to different robotic platforms.
8+ years of experience working in the Robotics/Autonomous vehicles industry
Proficient in C, C++, and Python
Experience working with ROS
Worked with SLAM, PCL, or similar libraries
Familiarity with Linux
Demonstrate experience with debugging, diagnostic tools, utilities, and testing platforms for software and hardware.
Experience working with various phases of life cycles of products such as design, debug, verification, validation, and production.
Demonstrated success in working with and leading a team environment to accomplish a common goal
Deep domain experience with Machine Learning libraries such as Tensorflow, Pytorch, Mxnet, etc.
Strong understanding of Sensor Transforms, Computer Vision, and 3D geometry.
Experience programming with MCUs such as Arduinos, Raspberry Pi
Work with Cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, Azure, etc.
Experience with ROS2
Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and containerized applications
Familiarity with VR
Familiar with Unity
Understanding of Rest API Services
Passion for DIY Hobbies preferably with Robotics
Experience soldering and wiring electronics
Understanding of power distribution systems
Experience deploying robots into real-world use cases
Experience working with safety protocols such as Fault Tree Analysis (FTA) and Failure Mode and Effect Analysis (FEMA)
Experience with CUDA programming
